Sunday 5th April : Frank & Robyn Radisich (Paul Radisich's
Parents) oil refinery in Turua
We had approx 10 cars , but two turned back at Tatanui
with car problems. We arrived to a warm family welcome and headed to the factory
where Frank gave us a run down on their oils. The factory is the only one left
in NZ to refine & mix their oils. They supply Masport and tractor oils,
hydraulic oils as well as Repco with engine oil & transmission oil.
We then enjoyed a lovely lunch provided by Robyn & their daughter &
Granddaughter.
We then were shown some of Paul's and their family's collection of trophy's.
They have a long history of motorsport with all off them having been involved in
racing from motor cross to stockcars etc. Then it was into the every mans dream
blokes shed. There were too many toys to list.
We had a great day. Frank and Robyn and their family were great hosts. It was a
most enjoyable day. Margaret
